The Regional Boards are in contact with the universities in name of SPS-NIP! All Regional Boards together organize more than 60 activities per year. As a Regional Board member you will have the responsibility to organize your own events and activities! The Regional Board consists of five board members who rotate yearly in July. The functions within the Regional Board are:
- Chairman (A requirement for this position is that you master the Dutch language): As Chairman you are responsible for the proper functioning of the Board: you are the chair in the weekly meeting, develop the script for events, you manage and support the board members, monitor progress and keep an overview of all the tasks at hand.
- Secretary: in the position of Secretary you are the right-hand of the chairman. You take minutes during the meetings, label the incoming mails and write the evaluations of activities.
- Treasurer: as the Treasurer you are responsible for the finances within the Board. You are responsible for the budgets of events and activities. You are challenged to be creative with the resources you have at hand. Besides that, you have the opportunity to do acquisition for activities and events.
- PR-External: as a PR-External, you are primarily responsible for the contact with the external parties such as speakers and arranging the locations for activities. You also work closely with the PR-Internal on the promotion of SPS-NIP and events
- PR-Internal: as a PR-Internal you are responsible for the promotion of SPS-NIP and the activities at your university. You create promotional plans, flyers and you can express your creativity in, for example, recruitment campaigns. Besides that, you work closely with the PR-External.

Wil jij een jaar lang werken aan je persoonlijke ontwikkelen en je daarbij inzetten voor je medestudenten om de stap vooruit te zetten in zijn of haar carrière? Wil jij meer doen naast jouw studie, jouw CV een boost geven en ervaring opdoen met samenwerken, het organiseren van activiteiten en natuurlijk netwerken? Solliciteer dan nu voor het Stedelijk Bestuur in jouw stad!
De Stedelijke Besturen zijn het gezicht van SPS-NIP op de universiteit. Alle Stedelijke Besturen bij elkaar organiseren daarbij ruim 80 activiteiten per jaar. Het Stedelijk Bestuur bestaat uit vijf bestuursleden die elk jaar in juli wisselen. Je bent gemiddeld 8 uur per week kwijt aan de werkzaamheden binnen het Stedelijk Bestuur. De functies binnen een Stedelijk Bestuur zijn:
- Voorzitter: als voorzitter ben jij het gezicht van het Stedelijk Bestuur op de universiteit en ben jij o.a. verantwoordelijk voor het reilen en zeilen van het Bestuur: je leidt de wekelijkse vergadering, maakt samen met de secretaris het draaiboek, stuurt de functionarissen aan, ondersteunt hen, monitort de voortgang en houdt overzicht.
- Secretaris: in de functie van secretaris ben jij de rechterhand van de voorzitter. Jij notuleert tijdens de vergaderingen, labelt de binnengekomen mails, stelt met de voorzitter het draaiboek samen voor de evenementen en schrijft de evaluaties.
- Penningmeester: als penningmeester ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de financiën binnen het Bestuur. Je maakt de begrotingen van activiteiten en wordt daarnaast uitgedaagd om heel creatief om te gaan met de middelen die je hebt én hebt de mogelijkheid om acquisitie te doen.
- Pr-intern: als pr-intern ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de promotie van SPS-NIP en de activiteiten op jouw universiteit. Je maakt promotieplannen, flyers en kunt jouw creativiteit kwijt in bijvoorbeeld wervingsacties. Ook werk jij nauw samen met de pr-extern.
- Pr-extern: als pr-extern ben jij hoofdverantwoordelijk voor het contact met de sprekers, externen en het regelen van de zalen. Andersom werk jij nauw samen met de pr-intern omtrent de promotie.
